What inspired thousands to embrace his teachings, attend his lectures and seek his advice? What were the pivotal moments in his life? This 90-minute docu-biopic explores Rudolf Steiner’s journey from humble beginnings in Vienna, through the challenges of the Weimar Republic to his quest for freedom in Berlin and ultimately his rise to prominence in Switzerland with his newly founded anthroposophy. Known for his quick temper and desire for social recognition, Steiner transitioned from anarchist to nationalist and became associated with racist slurs and antisemitic statements – a legacy his followers continue to grapple with today.
